About a newish fairy godmother

I bet many people who see this post will think “how is it that there is a relatively recent fairy godmother if… fairy godmothers don’t exist?”

Well, this is more or less how the story goes…

Once upon a time, there was a… let’s say not completely normal curly-haired girl. Then one day, the curly-haired girl’s sister had a baby (actually, it was her third) or this birth was particularly special for the curly-haired girl because her sister told her that she was going to be the :D. The curly-haired girl (who by then was 21 years old, not really a fairytale age) was very excited to be a godmother :D, but it sounded much more interesting to be a fairy godmother (21 and all… but she has imagination and she likes fairy tales :$)… it sounded much better, much more fun… and for sure the kids like them more, and spend more time thinking about them and wishing they had one.

There were a couple of insignificant details, like the magic wand… she didn’t have one of those wooden sticks… also, turning a pumpkin into a carriage without a wand sounded very difficult… and she didn’t sing at all… because of the “salagadoola mechicka boola bibbidi-bobbidi-boo”… but then she thought these days they won’t need a carriage, a car and a godmother who drives should be enough (by the time they grow up that is possible) and there are no princes around and they will go to houses instead of castles… and she also thought… all of this seems to be a matter of attitude… I’m going to be a fairy godmother.

As you may have guessed, the not very normal curly-haired girl is me :$… Now I have two beautiful goddaughters, Amalia and Sofia…

and with this post, I just wanted to introduce them (the first photo is Amalia and the other is Sofia) and introduce myself as a ”

fairy godmother

” (I read that they are the same as regular godmothers but described with magical powers) but as I said before, maybe I don’t have a magic wand, but I want to be there for my goddaughters and I hope to make their wishes come true… at least some of them… :P so, I’m actually a fairy godmother in training… but I have faith that I will do it right and someday my goddaughters will say that they already have a fairy godmother :P, it’s a matter of attitude… after all, our wishes may be just around the corner and what we need is just a little perspective…
